GREAT Quack Grass DEALS BELOW THE ARTICLES
No problems with lilies weeds?
I have a patch of iris and were very nice for a couple of years, but this year, weeds and plants of quackgrass are so bad that I'll have to dig the entire garden. Is this going to be a work in progress?
I recommend using a mulch around your iris. If you used the bark, rocks or soil-like thyme or periwinkle, surely reduce and control weeds around flowers. If you do not dig the garden, trying to divide iris while you're there. Iris profit to enter in small groups a few years and if they can break and have more plants in a row, will make it easier weeding. I do not want going mad with herbicides, however. Try to eliminate weeds naturally - get up and try something that looks interesting, but it grows with the same intensity.
